IF YOU ARE GOING TO CHURCH BECAUSE YOU LIKE OR LOVE YOUR PASTOR YOU ARE COMMITTING AN ADULTERY:
My Name is Samuel Olekanma and am the Founder of Mbaise Association.
Today is NOVEMBER 30th 2022.
I am sitting in my Officer this beautiful afternoon in Maryland USA and wanted to share this with perhaps someone out there that needs a help.
I am sure you can agree with me that FAITH plays a big role in our life and in fact you can not go far without having some kind of faith.
I am saying this because I used to do this all the time. I will judge the church by the pastor of the church and if the pastor pissed me off I will jump out. I have been and jumped out from different churches like JESUS HOUSE, RIVERS OF LIFE, WINNERS CHAPPLE AND THE REDEEMER CHAPPLE.
In all of this Churches my motive of jumping out was mainly because of the Pastor or the activity of the Pastor.
Most people go to church this day because of the likability or charisma of the Pastor and I have discovered that this is in fact idol worshiping or Idolatry. God does not want to share his glory with anyone including the Pastor.
If you are one of those still going to church because you like the pastor or you want the Pastor to appreciate you you might think again.
My purpose here is not to raise an argument but to help you grow in faith. God should be your only FOCUS in going or deciding to pick a place of worship.
Going to church for the admiration of the Pastor of the church is simple idol worshiping. You are no different than the one worshiping a carved wood image.
